And it made over 5,000 hp by boiling water. Let that sink in a bit...then watch this video of its smaller sister the 844 cruising at 75 mph. Compared the size of the locomotive to the size of the men in the cab....then remember those driving wheels are 6’8” in diameter and that the boiler is cooking along at just below 300 psi. And then tell me you don’t like trains :) I keep posting this video in Oppo because I have yet to find another vid on teh webz that convey what steam locomotives are like at full cry.
